I have this weird fear of walking over open grates in the sidewalk ... I will go waaaaaay out of my way to go around them wherever I am. And forget it when my mom, Leah and I are walking down a sidewalk together ... we part like the red sea.

Thanks to the Buffalo Sabres for the most amazing and exciting season! And although Lord Stanley's Cup is out of reach once again, you made us proud!! You brought an entire town together like nothing has in a long time.

Your amazing season brought 18,000+ people inside, 12,000+ outside the arena and countless people at home, together as one on Saturday afternoon. You played your hearts out and now it's time to rest.

And next year when it's time to drop that puck at center ice again, we'll be there for you, loud and proud!!!
